After finish mine and testing it out I've noticed the P80 frame is snug on just about every Glock holsters out there, unless your own using the P80 frame.

After doing some looking and testing Condor and I figure out it's this extra material that's making P80 frame fit snug in Glock holsters.

So time to trim...

I am just gonna match it with genuine Glock distance, look like the end of picatinny rail would be a good spot to make a little tapering to transition to.

I put two little notches to let me know how far to trim and where to make that taper/ramp. Basically align it with the last section of the picatinny rail

Didn't have fancy tool to trim the frame so it's box cutter and a file and some fine sand paper. Doesn't take much to trim it down. Here is the over view of the trimmed P80 frame see >>109227 for side by side comparison

Here is a top view of it, made the front slimmer and fit my Comp-Tac holster WAY better. It's less snug than before and just a little bit more friction than genuine Glock frame.

I think with more tools I can make the trimmed area look smoother and better. But with limited tools it works for now. What ever P80's plastic is, it cuts pretty well but if you cut then bend it, it does that plastic discoloring which with few pass of the razor it will clean those up. I think the milling bit that came with the P80 frame would do a better job than box cutter and sand paper.

quality thread OP, I've experienced similar things with my P80, maybe I'll give it a shot. Can you get a measurement/dimension that I can follow for how much material to take out?

You are in luck, I have a unfinished one to compare with

I pretty much just trim it down the highlighted plane, if you look at your P80 the parts need to trimmed off looked like "extra" to the frame so I figure it would be fine to trim them off.

Cool well have fun burying your guns once your lack off community fails to do anything when gun control happens to your state.

Honestly if all gun owners in the US just moved to 2 or 3 states then those states would forever vote against gun control and have a probable chance of leaving the union later on. But that'll never happen so the minority of pro gun voters will just be continually out voted in every election until there's nothing left of freedom.
