Nice frigging find!

I finally bought (at least a good copy) of one of the guns I've always wanted. Gotta figure out the particulars of 41(f), but definitely getting a tax stamp for this one.

Found this over the weekend. I've never been a huge fan of the CZ-75B or its clones, but I have to admit that the Cold War Commemorative edition just looks cool.

I put 100 rounds through it. Ok trigger, nothing special, but not horrible. I still dislike recessed slides. I still wish the 75B came with a decocker. Handles recoil well and it does feel good in the hand, however. I'll keep it as a range gun.

Also, I'm sad that my deal for a fun-switch'd FNC fell through. Guy texted me an hour before I was supposed to meet him to inspect the gun that someone had wired him the funds that morning. Oh well.

You have no idea how much I want a Webley Fosbery. It is honestly my childhood dream gun.

You're getting your hands on a lot of interesting guns lately.

Got this about a month ago.

Here is what I did today with Hornady Match BTHPs over 41 grains of Reloder 15 in cases I trimmed down to 2.009

Still pulling a little to the left, but I think that is me when the trigger breaks.

How crappy did you hear it was?

Took it out yesterday; it shot straight and great. The only thing worrisome is the ergonomics; can't really get a high grip on it. Trigger's kind of springy like a TT-33, but I heard replacing the firing pin and FPblock with the Harrington competition firing pin and FPblock would make things a bit better.

Also, when'd you get that Pre-B? The finish on that fella looks real nice. I ended up replacing my recoil spring with a 15lb one and it's become one of my go-to range guns now. Though I might need to replace the barrel soon.

I've heard they have awful triggers, terrible ergos, have a lot of recoil and break the firing pin if dry fired. It seems like the gun would be a decent design if it were a 9mm, but 7.62 Tokarev is too much for it.

I got if from CDI Sales on Gunbroker. It was the nicest blued examples I they've had recently so I jumped on it. The blued guns don't come up much, but they have had a bunch of good condition enamel or phosphate coated ones for sale lately.

Finally got around to refinishing my Hi-Power. The idiot marks of misguided youth are still there but it's a lot prettier now that it's been cerakoted. The slide is midnight blue and the lower half and small parts are stainless.

>>102001
Thanks. One day I want a CZ with a satin blued slide and a hard chrome frame. That gun is nice enough that I feel bad refinishing it, so maybe I'll get a beater to work on. We'll see. My Kadet kit still needs a permanent home too.
