Ranch rifle with a 30 rounder. Bought new around Easter of this year. Been too busy with the Army to have even fired it yet and it's currently many miles away from me.

The sling is an FN MAG sling I """liberated""" from the Army after carrying one on a winter exercise (temps dropped to -57) for almost a week. It wasn't on the list of accessories and parts I had to return at the end of the exercise, likely because they forgot to include it, so I kept it. It's a little too big for a Mini 14 but it's tough as hell and has some sentimental value.

Found and bought a Walther semiautomatic shotgun made between 1920 and 1930. It's a toggle locked design chambered for 2-1/2" shells. I probably overpaid, especially for the condition it's in, but you don't see these very often.

Magazine tube exposed and action locked back

I think this shotgun was fully intended to be a hunting shotgun because of the automatic chambering

After doing builds for everyone from helping the armorers over a decade ago to helping kids blast their re-up bonuses and building them for friends, I finally completed a custom build for myself. It's admittedly heavy, but it's a real tack driver and everything I wanted. I'm planning to build an SBR upper once I have the budget (and paperwork).

Specs
-Freefloated 20" heavy barrel with a 1/8 twist
-M4-72 comp.
-Seekins adjustable gas block feeding into a melonited rifle length tube
-Heavy buffer
-Heavy NiB bolt with FAL style sand cuts
-Custom engraved dust cover detailing the recommended ammo specs on the inside and the outside detailing chambering, barrel length and that it has an H-buffer
-Ambidextrous Radian Raptor charging handle
-Ambidextrous bolt release and magazine release
-Ambidextrous safety with a 60 degree throw
-Trigger smoothed by yours truly with a 3.5lb pull and hardly any over-travel (feels like breaking a thin icicle when firing and the reset is very short)
-Faxon M-lok handguard
-Magpul ACS stock and Magpul grip with grip core containing a spare bolt and firing pin

Currently has a cheap $20 bipod (Harris is on order), Primary Arms 3x compact scope with ACSS reticle on an American Defense quick release mount and a Surefire Helmet light mount (the FDE thing at the muzzle end of the top rail).

Sorry for the long post. I've enjoyed seeing everyone elses builds for years, so I'm excited to show mine off.

I picked up an SLR-106CR. I was worried about how it would do after reading many complaints about them online. I’ve put 300 rounds through it so far and had two instances of a new round not stripping from the mag. Not sure if it was short stroking or not, empty cases properly extracted and ejected. I was shooting a mix of Lake City 5.56, Tula .223 and PMC .223. I loaded the mags before the range trip so I wasn’t sure what I was firing and when, bad planning on my part. I’m going to put another 300 rounds of Tula through it in the next couple weeks.
