In order to slightly drive up traffic in /w/, threads about ongoing wars/armed conflict should generally be there, not /n/ or /t/.
/w/ to discuss warfare, strategy & tactics of current conflicts,
/n/ for news stories,
/t/ for talking about the politics etc.
Something like that.
try to report it, report says post has already been cleared and doesnt require deletion.
theres a post in /pbe/ that needs deleting. i cant into reporting so just fo
Taken care of, thank you for your service OPERATOR.
Still getting spammed:
Friendly reminder that the best way to get action on raids is to jump in IRC and let someone know.
As suggested in another thread, /fl/ would be a board for the discussion of unimportant news, like the numerous accounts of grannies being maimed in Hoboken, the adventures of living in Florida and other such topics.
I think it would be a better option than dropping all the shitty, controversial and irrelevant news onto other boards.
Thirding this option.
Moves too fast for a decent discussion on news items to take place. Especially if the story is still being updated or court proceedings are going on (which take time).
Shits up /t/ occasionally with huge shitstorms that go right next to mostly regular threads. Bad idea.
Message too long. Click here to view the full text.
Can we seriously change the board title for /n/ to "high brow forum of serious discussion"?
You know, I think that was a serious suggestion some time ago... that or I was thinking about it rather loudly.
I'm pretty sure someone mentioned it in the past.
Never mind, found it. I actually made this post:
What about a pinned thread in dmz since it's going to get buck wild and real stupid?
/dmz/ is always buckwild and real stupid
How about a training forum?
You know, where we could discuss drills, classes, instructors, targets etc.
You may do this in /k/, there aren't enough threads on this on a regular basis to need a new board just for it.
>I find it a bit funny that survival now entails how to maintain adequate nutrition within what many people consider to be acceptable living standards. Not unique to thread.
Since the decision was that all food related threads go in /s/, this was inevitable. Would OPchan appreciate a more heavily modified, meaner, leaner /s/?
I just want one place to contain this. Even when a shooting hasn't happened or it isn't election-time, you still see the same "rage" & other gun politic threads. Please contain them in one place.
While I would tend to somewhat agree with your sentiment, I do have to point out that we're a gun website... And like every gun-focused website on earth, gun politics are going to be an omnipresent factor.
But 'gun politics rage' threads aren't constructive most of the time.
And really, we have a weapons board so I don't really get that line of reasoning to *not* have a board or stickied thread to contain it.
>This post has been cleared
We get reportspam quite often, so in clearing that a mod likely fucked up and cleared this too.
It's gone now. Thank you for your cooperation.
I was wondering if there was anything that I could help with the site programming wise. For the experience and possibly a reference. just so that I can say truthfully that I can use what I learned in an actual situation.
opchan was better when serv was running the show than it is now
Except for, y'know, the 500 errors.
or serv misappropriating donations
Don't forget that he squandered what he didn't steal.
lol monthly bank fees
Hey guys, just to increase our ad revenue, how about putting a pseudo-random ad interval on the section banners? Like a one-in-five or something? At least for CLW and the PBE store; or, better, for them and other paying adherents?
I mean, yeah, most of us are dirt-farmer poor; but we are called Legion, for we are many, and we tend to spend on OPERATOR crap whenever we've got the chance.
I'm not advocating the outright commercialization of the site, mind you; I'm just saying...
Oh wow, I just picked an image out of my Models folder at random. Didn't think it'd be so damn... distracting. My bad if that breasts... I mean breaks the rules, mods.
>but we are called Legion
OPchan's coffers are reasonably well filled now. We should last over a year with our current funding.
Nugget Enterprises is also likely to chip in shortly.
The top banner rotation will remain OPchan & free of advertisement for now.
This. Also opchan never got enough traffic to make ads worthwhile.
I do not know if this is happening to anyone else, but when posting the "message" field starts minimized and has to be manually drug from the corner to be usable. I can't get a cursor to appear with my text or use proper page breaks.
Problem started today
I am unable to duplicate this problem, what browser are you using?
Can you give a screenshot of the behaviour?
