Anyone have a link to or screencaps from that guy who set out to build a ak74 pistol to specifically get 7n6 banned?

I remember the story you're talking about but I got nothing. I seem to recall the guy being very litigious.

I think I remember he was on some dumbshit about trying to convince them it was stupid, which in itself was a fucking stupid idea.

Arsenal SLR-106 UR pistol in 5.56x45mm NATO.
Anyone used these things?
Fun to fire or range toy oddity?

One of my range buddies had a AK pistol in 7.62x39 with a muzzle brake on it. Holy ballsack was that thing loud. The brake would blast stuff off tables.

No recoil. Fun as hell to shoot. Completely useless.

Looks awkward, impractical, even ugly.
I want it.

I can see an AK pistol with a folding sto--, uh, I mean, folding "arm brace" having considerable practical value as a home defense firearm. With a good brake you could get some pretty nice split times at HD distances, I betcha.

I could see a short 7.62x39 being alright for use in a vehicle.

I have an AR pistol with brace that I keep accessible from the driver's seat back home in 5.56 for that, but keep it loaded with 62 grain Federal Fusions for windshields. I suspect a .30 caliber would have less trouble punching through and being adequate for the ranges it would likely be used at.
