yeah got about halfway through the mission by myself just fine after that then had to leave, so did it a 3rd time with another group. Ended up falling through the level like 5 different times. Would load me up at a safehouse and just had to fast travel back to my team but still a pain.

I am now 100% convinced I am the luckiest division player in the game. Ive never had any bugs like that, but it seems the vast majority do.

Worst I get is the black screen on start up and I have to alt+enter.

While leveling at release, all shared instances lagged so badly it was almost unplayable. So I basically solo'ed to level 30 since instanced missions with other players was just too painful.

I dropped through the world once.
I've been "you are outside of the playing area" a few times, without dropping through the world as well. Usually when opening crates etc. You are then teleported to a safe zone.

Today, I got lucky. For 1h30, I received 2% heal per second because one of my armor's perks remained active though the requisite for it was long gone. It's supposed to only activate when "under a status effect" (like on fire, dazed, deaf, blind,...).
The nice thing is that although it's only 2% is that it also activated the "autoheal" as if you're out of combat and fill up the active portion of the health bar. Since it'd tick over into the next healthbar as well, you always get healed to full all the time.
I was more or less invincible, especially since I've got 15% heal on kill. So I was fighting 6 lvl 32 enemies without having to take cover. I didn't abuse this for PVP, but this is ALMOST as bad as the "invisible in PVP" bug from the beta.

I also met a group of level 1 NPC cleaners in the DZ. One bullet per NPC & they were dead. They gave 20 XP each. Funny.
They obviously were supposed to be level 31. Someone made a typo, me thinks.

GG Ubisoft.

Ive been fortunate to avoid the majority of bugs in my time playing. I have fallen through the world a handful of times (its not an MMO until you fall through the world, of course) and earlier today i got stuck in the being revived position doing the Lexington Event Center on challenge mode.

Other than that its been pretty good. There has been some lag and other issues, but with how early in release it is I am not terribly surprised. Overall it has been playing pretty smoothly.

Back to gameplay, my god tanking in this game is hilariously fun. Stack armor and then prio. stam over electronics and you are pretty invulnerable. Your DPS is pretty shit, but you can sit there and tank nades with your shield while also shield bashing shotgunners/rushers. Best part is running the shield mod that regens health whenever it takes damage.
>> No. 57625 ID: 1a5e9f

Shield HP is capped in the endgame, so it's a dead end for a build. Sure, it's OK at first, but if you want to progress endgame, you'll want to switch builds.

Armorbased damage reducation is also capped btw. So don't foolishly keep stacking it on. You'll need to be full yellow to come close to the cap though.

Just hit 30 a bit ago and did some dz, Im dz like 15 now. Though I feel like I should have leveled my DZ with my actual level because damn the NPCS in the DZ can be a pain in the ass.

However my newer purple mosin does like 60k head shot damage. So I tend to do most with that. I need a new assault rifle, but ive got the best I can craft/find/buy until I get dz 30.

>Just hit 30 a bit ago and did some dz, Im dz like 15 now. Though I feel like I should have leveled my DZ with my actual level because damn the NPCS in the DZ can be a pain in the ass.

That's normal, don't worry. Just do as many daily missions as possible and level in DZ01 & DZ02. Typical newbie run would be:
Enter the DZ from one of the south western checkpoints.
Clear the thugs at the metro entrance.
Clear the metro and head north.
Clear the sports store.
Clear the rooftop LZ & everything around it.
(optionally clear the cleaner hideout further down)
Re-arm at the safe house.
Clear the Library.
Repeat in the other direction & keep looping back & forth.

Once that gets easy, you can go hunt for better loot up north, but for XP it doesn't matter. Higher level NPCs only give a tiny bit more XP and are significantly harder to kill. I wouldn't worry about DZ04 or DZ05 unless you're grouped with people with decent gear & that know what they're doing.

Going rogue is NOT useful when trying to gain DZ levels btw. The rewards from killing players are too damn slim to matter. It's only necessary to keep you interested in the game and prevent you from getting bored as fuck.

>However my newer purple mosin does like 60k head shot damage. So I tend to do most with that. I need a new assault rifle, but ive got the best I can craft/find/buy until I get dz 30.

The best yellow loot at the start is gained from phoenix credits (mostly crafted from schematics), not DZ stuff. Those are gained from missions and from killing special named bosses.

Also, there's no reason to restrict yourself to two long guns & a handgun. Carry more in your inventory, since you'll likely be most contrained by ammo at the start due to the enemies being bullet sponges.
I walk around using my SMG or LMG for normal NPCs, but switch to my higher DPS (but ammo munching) AR15 for dangerous situations and PVP.
Together the SMG & LMG ammo provide me with sufficient breathing room not to have to constantly run to the damn safe house or checkpoints to rearm.

>>57621

The constant heal thing happened again today. Took an hour or so before the bug triggered. Shit's handy, but seriously fucked balance-wise. It resets when you leave the DZ to clear your stash.

Good starting stuff would be the Vector SMG (limited range, low mag cap) or the Liberator (nice intermediate) for instance. I think they're around 150 phoenix credits each for the crafting schematics. If you're DZ level 15, you probably have more than that.

With crafting, you might need to try a few times to get the best gun out of it. I got lucky and got a 6660 dmg per shot (@850RPM) Liberator on first craft.

Does the phoenix credit stuff require dz 30 to use? Cause I have like... 38 credits I think. I came up on a group of 4 or 5 guys in the dz and helped heal a few and helped one up. I proceeded to follow them and was marveling at them tearing through yellow NPCs like they were level 1.

I was dz 13 when I hit 30. So I didnt really get credits before that.

>Does the phoenix credit stuff require dz 30 to use? Cause I have like... 38 credits I think.

No, Phoenix credits are spent in your home base, top floor. Next to the recalibration station.
Around 150 for most weapon blue prints, 80 or less for mods & such.

You get phoenix credits for doing daily missions (50 or so per mission?), challenges, or just plain killing named bosses in the DZ (you get very few for that though).

DZ level 30 stuff you can buy with DZ credits will most likely already be useless by the time you hit 30. Until DZ level 50, you'll mostly be relying on phoenix credits.

>I came up on a group of 4 or 5 guys in the dz and helped heal a few and helped one up. I proceeded to follow them and was marveling at them tearing through yellow NPCs like they were level 1.

Yup, if you have semi decent gear AND are in a group? You make fairly short work of anything in the lower DZs.

That's also the reason 4 decent geared guys grouped up and going rogue currently steamroll the DZ. The newbies don't stand a chance and the better geared guys don't tend to be able to catch up due to the fact rogues now tend to remain mobile.

>>57632
>Yeah im mostly stam firearms. Ive got like.. 50k hp I think. Some decent armor from some of my better items.

That's still low, of course. The only builds I know of in with such low HP is acceptable is the elec support build for grouped gameplay. It'll get better with better purples and obviously yellows.

The only way to progress more quickly in the DZ is to group & steam roll NPCs.

I wonder if the game is playable from euroland so I can play a bit with you guys. :)

Did some of the daily missions and finished out my story mission.

Swapped my sniper to a pretty pimp SMG (Steyr aug is somehow an smg), still carry the sniper if I need to.

But holy shit this SMG (and my new build with better gear) chews through dark zone and tougher mobs pretty damn fast.

I bought a major upgrade or two with some phoenix credits and Im back up to 78 creds. Tomorrows dailies/darkzoning will probably get me up to a yellow phoenix credit gun/blueprint. I also got the Damascus pistol somewhere along the way that is pretty awesome looks cool too. Damascus weave look with gold accents. Im also up to dz 20. So all is going decently well.

Running a purple Kriss as my main right now and a blue M1A. Finally cleared the story and every bit of side mission, encounter, and piece of intel. DZ is hard solo. Both due to toughness of the AI and dealing with groups targeting a lone wolf. Even 1 v 1 if they decide to take the rogue status and shoot first especially while you're hanging something up on a heli, they'll probably win.

Trying to group for PVE in the DZ is weird. No one wants to group, but dozens run around doing PVE.

>My M249 Saw has a box mag of 166 and I can carry 1000+ rounds now...it's bullet hose time!

I use low RPM weapons for grinding, like the Midas or an M60. Means you have more kills per re-supply. With a high RPM high DPS weapon like the Liberator on hand to hose things down when shit gets dangerous.

I really with there were more 'good' endgame highend LMGs with low RPM & high DMG. First thing I'll do when I hit DZ50 is buy LMG crafting crap and see if any of it is worthwhile.

I'm half a level away of DZ level 50. I'll guy a bunch of schematics and see what that does for me. I'm pretty curious if it was worth the effort. Probably not.

They also nerfed my Midas. But that was overpowered anyway.
The Liberator is a damn shame though.

Anyway, I hit DZ50 & bought every schematic in the entire DZ. DZ currency isn't exactly rare. I still have 350k DZ credits left after buying everything.
Problem is yellow Division Tech of course, which is needed for every yellow craft. So I crafted one of each type & 3 guns, before running out of division tech. Didn't really get me the increase I hopes for.
I doubt I'll buy the expansions too btw. Don't want to encourage them in making this type of graphically beautiful but otherwise shoddy game.

Anyone know if you can upgrade green & blue division tech to yellow division tech somehow? My crafting bench doesn't have that option.

Hmm, dunno.

Update: Im now DZ 43 or 44 or so. Using Pakhan and a yellow aug I found in a chest (which upgraded my vector).

Got a couple of yellow items, but need to finish getting new gear.

PvP stuff: Things I hate: People who never drop below a certain health before healing like they can chain use heals. Also, People who go rogue, and have a non rogue group hiding near them that jumps you when you try to off the rogue. What I hate more is when the two type of people are working together.

Well, some weapons have a low ammo cap (which can be raised with gear "+x% ammo") or are only worth it when using it at a high rate of fire (thus burning through ammo). So there's some legit reasons to run out of ammo.
The solution is simple: Just carry an extra type of weapon and switch your weapons out when necessary.

Anyhow, I quit playing this game a while ago after hitting DZ50 and buying all schematics. The endgame wasn't worth the effort, and quite frankly that was obvious to me from the start. It's only the fact that I love post-apoc shit that kept me playing.

And to ruin stuff.
Taken from the patch notes, The Division now turns fully into a Grindfest.

--------------------------------------------------------------
Increased costs for converting crafting materials and crafting High-End items:
10 Standard (Green) materials instead of 5 to craft 1 Specialized (Blue) material
15 Specialized (Blue) materials instead of 5 to craft 1 High-End (Gold) material
10 High-End (Gold) materials instead of 8 to craft 1 lvl 31 High-End (Gold) item
Changed deconstruction yield of Standard (Green) and High-End (Gold) items:
Deconstructing a Standard (Green) item yields 1 Standard material instead of 2
Deconstructing a High-End (Gold) item yields 1 High-End material instead of 2
