Basically a spiritual successor to Advance Wars with tacticool anime characters

Looks pretty sweet and they have a playable demo on their kickstarter game. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/studio34/tiny-metal

Ive backed two. One turned out to be massively successful and some of you have probably played the end product (Path of Exile).

The other was massively successful by kickstarter standards and is current nearing beta I think. (Camelot Unchained)

Advance Wars for the Nintendo Game Boy Advance was a good turn-based strategy game for that old handheld. Played it a lot on the flip-screen GBA-SP (a new one sells for around $500 on Amazon!).

Too bad they did not have anything really comparable for the Sony PSP, aside from Field Commander, Metal Gear Acid, Final Fantasy Tactics and a whole lot of turn-based RPGs.

Their team doesn't list any programmers, just a couple story people and a bunch of artists, and nobody on it has worked on the previous Advance Wars games.

they have a playable demo on their kickstarter page, and from what I've played, it's pretty solid
